WEnow have a very bare looking High Street in Bromsgrove which is bereft of all greenery.

The beautiful silver birches and also the double cherry outside the art cafe have been chopped down, leaving small patches of Tarmac in their place.

As we were promised replacement of the trees and it looked as if work was about to start, the loss of the trees was rather begrudgingly accepted.

So far we have seen no movement in that direction making the loss of the trees a completely pointless exercise.

Pleasewould someone in charge of this project come forward and explain why it was necessary to remove the trees so soon and what, if anything, is going on?
