WHERE does the council intend to put the Christmas lights this year?
Will they go on the new trees that they intend to plant to replace the ones that they cut down?
It now adds an interesting dimension when walking in the town dodging the four foot high stumps. In the past the council claimed that shopkeepers’ boards were a health and safety issue – how do they view these?
My understanding is that they discussed this at a recent planning meeting, approved it and felled them within days. Is this the town re-generation plan?
Why such a rush to fell all the trees in the area?
Can I remind them that the ones on our estate are protected – I think.
What cunning plan will they come up with next?
