IF you want to see an example of council- condoned ecological vandalismtake a look at what CALA homes has done to the marshes in Catshill.
At the initialmeetingwewere informed that no trees would be cut down.
Some half dozen mature trees havenow gone, along with significant areas of undergrowth.
No one in Catshill wanted the development and I recall a council official early last year declaring that any development in Bromsgrove would not be foisted on residents.
I shall refrain from comment.
I’d like to congratulate the council for endorsing the destruction of this wildlife pocket.
I have always exercised my vote, but now realise that it was absolutely pointless with this council. I won’t be bothering again.
