In response to Reg Kirby in edition March 25 2015, regarding his concerns about noise pollution in the up and coming Chauteu Impney Hill Climb event. Firstly, it is on for one weekend only, and it is not like it is becoming a regular weekend occurrence and a “night club”. It is bringing a piece of heritage back to Droitwich Spa which will encourage visitors to the local area and will support local business trade.
Whilst I appreciate the area is close to a housing estate and can be a cause for concern, it is impossible to ask everyone’s opinion about everything all the time, as it is impossible to please everyone but that’s why we live in a democracy. I totally agree that the young boy racers are causing nuisance on the Kidderminster road, but to label anybody in a car with this bracket is very stereotypical.
