I CAN see it makes sense to remove dog bins if two bins are next to one another – having experience of using dog bins that are sometimes full to overflowing in Bromsgrove.
But I would think that using non-closing bins for dog mess will be rather unpleasant for people nearby and at bins next to bus stops in warmer weather. I contacted the council last year after the bin at the bottom of Grafton Lane was damaged during hedge trimming.
The bin was removed and then never replaced and further I never received a reply about it.
Now I see the next bin at the 144 bus stop has also been removed in the last month.
I see locals are now placing home-made banners about this issue around the surrounding housing estate, so I would be interested in how those two bins fit in with this policy?
