A GIFTED youngster from Barnt Green Sports Club has been crowned English National Champion in the under-11s age category.
Sam Osborne-Wyle, 10, was too strong for the rest of the field in Nottingham.
He is currently ranked number one in England and was the top seed for the event, where there were over 50 boys competing in the U11s.
The junior raced to the final without dropping a game and then tackled the second seed Timothy Lloyd from Surrey.
But he continued to dominate and won the final 3-0.
He is also ranked 12 in the U13s nationally and plays out of Barnt Green Squash Club and Edgbaston Priory.
Sam represents Worcestershire in Inter County events. It has been a brilliant year for the ten-year-old, who is one of Green’s leading lights.
