CHADDESLEY Corbett were frustrated by opponents Bredon as they secured a winning draw in Worcestershire Division Three.
The Wyre Forest side had lost the toss and were put into bat, but managed to post a strong score of 219 all out.
Corbett were 27-4 when Muhammad Saddiq came to the crease and smashed 136 off 142 balls. Only Matthew Yardley (26) managed to get into double figures, while the rest of the side struggled.
Corbett’s bowlers made good early inroads into Bredon and had them 16-4 before a fifth-wicket partnership of Clive Feeney (62no) and Martyn Draper (54no) frustrated them.
The rain cut the game short at 33 overs with Bredon 143-4.
