Rowing: A TEAM from a Bromsgrove-based leisure centre is taking part in a charity row for the Support Our Soldiers charity.
Members of DLC Bromsgrove, based at the David Lloyd Club, will row up to 64 miles on Saturday week, February 27, with teams of two at a time rotating 30 minutes on and 30 minutes off from 7am to 9pm. Each rower will complete around 70,000 metres.
Two years ago, five members of the club raised around £3,500 for Worcestershire County Air Ambulance by rowing 100,000 metres each. For details on this year’s effort call Ian on 07939 175505.
