ALVECHURCH and Hopwood ran riot at Rushwick to reel off an emphatic 155 run success in Worcester County League Division Three.
Taking first strike, Alvechurch and Hopwood proceded to pile on the runs reaching an imposing 275 for seven.
Opening bat Adam Markham-Jones spearheaded the scoring spree with 74 and found plenty of support from Curtis Beach 48, Liam Hall 31 and Mike Reuben who made 25.
Reuben then came back to haunt Rushwick with the ball by snapping up superb figures of six for 21 off six overs after strike bowler Christian Battelley had earlier helped himself to two for 28 as Rushwick found themselves removed for 120 all out.
