NEW signing Ellis Blakemore made an immediate impact for Victoria Barnt Green as he bagged a hat-trick in Sunday's 4-0 win over Meadow Park in the Bromsgrove and District League Premier.

Dan Wilkes was also on target while Park keeper Andy Yarnold saved a penalty.

Victoria are playing in a brand new all-red kit after being sponsored by E-Lites,

Their success winning the WA Harris Cup and the Premier division title last season caught the attention of E-Lites CEO Adrian Everett, who grew up in Barnt Green.

Trevor Field, chief sales and marketing officer for the company, said: “We appreciate how important sport is to local communities. Victoria Brant Green is in a very strong position both on and off the field and we are delighted to support them further in their bid to win more trophies and honours this season. They are definitely a team who believe they can achieve more.”

Victoria Barnt Green secretary Alan Vaughan commented: “All the lads are delighted with the news that E-Lites have stepped in to sponsor our new shirts.

"The kit looks fantastic and we can’t wait for the new season to start all over again. This is just the boost we needed.”
