IT’S all change at Fairfield Villa who start the Midland Combination Division One at home to West Midlands Police on Saturday (3pm ko).

The joint management team of Paul Oakes and Lee Shaw have cleared out the squad and brought in a host of new faces.

Stuart Hall has signed for Littleton, while Villa’s attempt to bring back former striker Andy Nicholls was squashed as he opted to join Premier Division side Studley.

Former Feckenham man Adam Guest has signed as have Studley pair Nick Briggs and Hungarian Gabor Yengel.

Former Bromsgrove Rovers striker Richard Burgess, who has spent the last four seasons playing for Bewdley Town in the West Midlands Premier, has also joined.

Experienced utility man Paul Edwards, Wyre Forest FC’s Scott McKellor and Inkberrow winger Nathan Davies have also been signed up, while exciting youth team prospect Oscar Collins has also been promoted to the first team squad.

Meanwhile, Droitwich Spa, who will be looking for a better campaign in Division One, start the season in the Les James Challenge Cup at home to Polesworth (3pm ko).

It will be the first chance for new boss Colin Rudge to test his rebuilt squad since taking the reins in the summer.
