AN expanding Bromsgrove company is set to create up to 100 jobs over the next six months.

E-Lites, which supplies electronic cigarettes, will have its new 13,000sq ft headquarters at Buntsford Hill Business Park officially opened by Bromsgrove MP, Sajid Javid, on Friday.

The move follows record sales across the UK and overseas via E-Lite’s export operations and will bring the total workforce to 150.

It marks the culmination of a thriving 18 months for E-Lites, the operating name of Zandera Ltd, which moved from a 500sq ft unit to a 4,000sq ft premises during 2011 but has already outgrown that building.

The new Zandera House headquarters of E-Lites is more than three times bigger than its predecessor and will house a growing sales and distribution operation.

Adrian Everett, a co-founder and director of E-Lites, said: “This is a milestone in the evolution of E-Lites and shows just what can be achieved with vision, ambition and determination.

“We’ve seen an extraordinary increase in sales of our highly advanced smoke-free and tobacco-free electronic cigarettes, which offer smokers a healthier, cheaper and unrestricted alternative to conventional cigarettes.

“What’s most pleasing, however, is that we can share our success with the local community by creating jobs in Worcestershire and the West Midlands.

“Over the next few months, we’ll be recruiting additional staff for all levels of the organisation, including sales, distribution, stock management, accounting and customer service.”
