POLICE in Bromsgrove are appealing for information following disorder in Worcester Road.

Between 20-30 people were involved in the incident which started at around 3.30am on Saturday morning (April 9).

An elderly disabled man is now too scared to leave his home after being mugged in Kingswinford in broad daylight.

Brian Shaw was riding his mobility scooter from Market Street back to his home in Wall Heath at about 2pm on Saturday, April 2, when he was approached by two men.

Motorists and Dudley borough residents are being warned about a number of roads which are set to be disrupted throughout the next week and beyond.

The one-way system which has been in place on the A491 High Street in Amblecote – which was scheduled to be completed by yesterday (Sunday, April 10) is now set to continue as the gas mains replacement work is not yet complete.

Work is well underway to replace sewer pipes in Kidderminster in a £1 million investment which will prevent future sewer flooding for residents in the town.

The Severn Trent Water work, which began in February at the Sainsbury’s Superstore in Carpet Traders Way Retail Park, is to replace 172 metres of pipe. The work is due to be completed by the early summer.

A coach fire between junctions four and three of the M5 closed part of the motorway.

Fortunately nobody was hurt in the fire, which happened on Friday night (April 8), though the coach was completely destroyed by the blaze.
