PAUL Smith hailed his attacking trio of Sean Brain, Connor Collins and Kyle Turner after Bromsgrove Sporting's 2-1 win over Hinckley.

Turner bagged a second half double as Sporting roared from behind to defeat their Midlands Division One rivals and avenge their 6-2 home drubbing to the Leicestershire side in the FA Cup.

Bromsgrove have reacted well to November's defeat to leaders Coventry United, winning their last four games in all competitions.

Since signing from Atherstone, Turner has scored five goals in as many games.

He said: "I have to praise all three lads because they've done so well.

"Kyle was in Holland all week in work so we started Connor and Sean and then brought him on and the lads were joking they tired out the Hinckley defence for him.

"But all three are doing superbly and there is a great spirit between them.

"Kyle is just one of those players who has the knack of being in the right place at the right time and scores lot of goals.

"He's scored goals where ever he has played."

Victory on Saturday ensured Bromsgrove are still chasing leaders Coventry, who they trail by ten points.

Smith added: "We went into the break trailing but I told the players that we had defended very well.

"They kept their spirits up and responded superbly.

"Since the defeat to Coventry we've been on a great run and played well as a team."

Sporting have a free weekend because schedule league opponents Nuneaton Griff are still in the FA Vase.

Their next game is against Coventry Copsewood on Saturday, December 19 (3pm ko).

Meanwhile, Smith confirmedSimon Fitter is still with the club and has not been playing because of injury.

The defender had previously been left out of a squad following a fall out with coaches.

Smith said: "Simon is still with us. He's had a few issues with his knees and we're playing well so there's no need to rush him back."
