WORCESTER Wolves boss Ty Shaw has been released from hospital after being taken ill during Friday night’s British Basketball League match at Sheffield Sharks.
Struggling Wolves slumped to their 14th straight league defeat, losing 114-76 at the English Institute of Sport.
Shaw, 39, did not appear for the second half and was taken to hospital with the club now saying he "will be taking some time to rest and make a full recovery".
He was appointed Wolves’ head coach and director of basketball in August.
The American played for the University of Worcester and Wolves between 2003 and 2006.
Club managing director Mick Donovan said on Saturday morning: “Thank you for all of the messages of support for Ty.
"We are pleased to say that he has been discharged from hospital this morning and will be taking some time to rest and make a full recovery.”
