WORCESTERSHIRE has announced New Road will stage eight days of international cricket in 2019.

The county host an under-19s ODI tournament featuring England, India and Bangladesh in late July.

England Women, Australia and Australia A are also in action at Worcester – the latter two against Worcestershire – during 2019.

With Worcestershire involved in seven Specsavers County Championship matches, four Royal London One-Day Cup group games and seven Vitality Blast fixtures, it means New Road will stage a minimum of 47 days of action in 2019.

The Under-19 tournament will see England taking on India (July 21) and Bangladesh (July 22) with the other two teams doing battle on July 24.

Paceman Adam Finch and batsman Jack Haynes have both been regular members of recent under-19 squads.

It all starts on June 9 when England Women face West Indies Women.

Then on June 25, Worcestershire will play host to Australia A in a 50-over encounter as part of their tour of England.

The Under-19 tournament will be followed by the three-day tour game versus Australia from August 7 and 9.
