Warriors' fly-half Billy Searle has been ruled out of this weekend's Gallagher Premiership clash with Leicester Tigers after requiring 'a little bit' of surgery on the leg wound he suffered in the Exeter defeat.
Searle went down after just 20 minutes in the 21-17 defeat at home to Exeter Chiefs last Saturday and he later revealed the extend of the gash on his twitter page. (WARNING: image below is not for the faint-hearted)
Some performance from the boys yesterday, very unlucky not to come away with the win! Congrats @duncan_weir on the 50th cap👏

Worcester head coach Jonathan Thomas said the former Wasps man will miss the trip to Welford Road this weekend.
"It was a pretty nasty one," said Thomas.
"He won't play this weekend, it's a really nasty wound and he required a little bit of surgery just to make sure there's no chance of infection and gave it a clean out so he won't be available."
There was no other injury news to speak of but Andrew Kitchener is coming close to a return to action.
"Young Kitch won't make it this week unfortunately," Thomas added.
"He's running around like a young foal on the touchlines so he's keen to get back but he won't make it this week."
