FORMER Newcastle Falcons winger Sinoti Sinoti will not be signing for Worcester Warriors, as has been the suggestion in a number of reports over the last week.

Warriors' head coach Jonathan Thomas confirmed the 35-year old Samoan spent last week training with the team but it was purely for conditioning purposes and will not be making the move.

Thomas said: "Sinoti did train with us last week. He has been out of the game for a few months and he asked for the opportunity to train and do some conditioning with us.

"He's a good character and the boys enjoyed having him around but he is no longer with us as he's gone back to Australia to pastures new.

"We wish him all the very best with whatever he does next."

Other whisperings were also put to bed as Thomas confirmed the club were not monitoring the situation of former-Warriors' legend Bryce Heem, who left Toulon last week due to "personal reasons".

"In a word, no, we aren't," added Thomas.

" Bryce is a legend of this club and he was fantastic for the club and I am sure a lot of the supporters would love to have him back.

"But he has come out in his statement and been pretty honest in saying he's going back to New Zealand for family reasons so we wish him all the best.

"I think in terms of recruitment, obviously van der Merwe and Chris are coming in so I think in terms of that position of recruitment we are done."
