WORCESTER Warriors and Zimbabwe international prop Farai Mudariki has left the club following the end of his contract.

The 25-year-old tighthead made just three appearances for the club as injuries affected his game time from the start.

Mudariki spent two years at the academy of Top 14 club Castres before his arrival from French club Tarbes in the summer of 2018 on the recommendation of former Warriors lock James Percival.

He made his debut in the Premiership Rugby Cup victory over Sale Sharks in October 2018 and scored his first try for Warriors in the victory over Leicester Tigers in the same competition 11 months later.

But that proved to be Mudariki’s third and final appearance for Warriors as an ankle injury sustained in training brought an early end to his season.

“Farai now takes leave of us here at Sixways,” said Warriors Director of Rugby Alan Solomons.

“Sadly, injuries prevented him from making his mark at the club. He is though talented and we wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.”

Mudariki has been capped ten times by Zimbabwe - most recently against Tunisia in August 2018 - and he scored a try on his international debut in a qualifying match for the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
