WARRIORS fans have started to question the position of director of rugby Alan Solomons in the wake of a 14-8 defeat at Leicester.

Worcester's fifth defeat in a row is proving too much for some supporters in a season that looks like it would have descended into a relegation battle but for the situation at Saracens.

Here are some of the views from social media.

@RugbyWorcs: “Two pretty poor teams.

"We had the better of the first half but a better performance would have put Tigers to the sword! Loss of Kitch and Bresler made a huge difference but very frustrating. All pretty flat on the bus home.”

@WorcsFaithful: “Not good enough by a distance.”

@alex_cale: "Leicester weren’t great but we had nothing in the locker to beat them. New coaches next year can’t come soon enough.”

@PaulHWarrior: “After last season we were going forward but this season we have gone backwards. Unfortunately, I have to agree that change is needed at the top. Too many excuses and no apparent moves to change the mindset.”

@edgrigg11: “Errors at bad times. Individually some great talent in the squad but confidence is low.

"It never felt like we would kick on after our first try and second-half penalty count was too high. Trying to be positive but it’s difficult after losing to a Leicester side with so many stars out.”

@UncleGW: “The worrying thing for me is that we could have put the game to bed easily – something just isn’t clicking.”

@SixwaysGnB: “Another loss against a bottom of the table side who had a number of key players out.

"The current regime are three years in and being joint bottom is not good enough. We need an evening with owners and/or Solly absolutely in the next month.”

James Goodman: "Well thank the lord for the bonus point. If not we would be bottom.

"Cannot really count Sarries, but thanks them at least we won’t go down this season. Solly needs to make a decent statement about what’s going on, what he has planned, and what’s going to happen with the next few games.

"We have lost every potential game we should have won this year. Giving games away on penalties seems to be our game plan. Let’s see what Friday brings against Saints."

Peter Armstrong: Dai Young was sacked by Wasps for not winning anything for a couple of seasons, yet Alan Solomons seems to have a job for as long as he wants regardless of results."

Rich Harris: "Excuse after excuse."
