TIGHTHEAD prop Ropate Rinakama is set to leave Worcester Warriors without a single first team appearance to his name.
The Fijian international arrived at Sixways in late October on a short-term contract after injuries to Nick Schonert and Farai Mudariki.
But a month later Schonert made a quicker than expected return to full fitness and now Mudariki has started training again.
Rinakama made an impact off the bench in Worcester Cavaliers’ victories over Sale Jets and Wasps A. But the 31-year-old's Sixways stay is due to end next week.
“Ropate is still here and working with us,” said director of rugby Alan Solomons.
“(His deal) is until the end of the month.
“He hasn’t appeared for the first team but he has been great to have around the place. He is a fantastic bloke.
“He would be an asset to any club fortunate to have his services. We just don’t have the situation.
“He came in to replace Nick who is now fit and playing so there’s no reason to keep him on.
“Farai is training. His hamstring was a little bit tight, but that’s probably because he’s got to get used to it.”
