WARRIORS.

7 Pennell – put his body on the line to halt powerful wing Rokoduguni on several occasions and his neat pass released Venter in lead up to Heem’s score.

9 HEEM – carried superbly all afternoon, dragging his side back into the game and his two second-half tries, the second of those in the 18th minute of added time secured victory. My man of the match.

8 Venter – burst into life in the final 20 minutes of normal time, playing a instrumental role in the fightback with two excellent breaks and provided the assist for Heem’s first try.

7 Te’o – retaining his place ahead of fit-again Mills, the England centre got into Bath’s faces from the off with his direct running style which proved effective at times.

7 Humphreys – did not see much of the ball in attack, knocking on at the end of a poor first half from Warriors, but produced a superb try-saving tackle to deny Wilson.

7 Weir – after a disappointing first-half the fly-half helped turn the tide for his side and showed a huge amount of bottle to slot home the match-winning conversion.

5 Hougaard – another below par performance from the scrum-half who twice knocked on at the back of the ruck and struggled to dictate things in the opening period.

7 Black – made some telling contributions including a good tackle on Chundley at the start of the second half and even had a late cameo at tighthead with Schonert and Milasinovich injured.

7 Singleton – only one of his 12 lineout throws was stolen and demonstrated plenty of desire to get Warriors on the front foot with some strong carrying.

6 Schonert – returning from injury the tighthead prop suffered a few blows before making way for the in-form Milasinovich at half-time.

6 Bresler – was a strong aerial presence at the set-piece and fronted up well in defence as Warriors came under pressure in the opening 40 minutes.

7 Fatialofa – coming back after a period out through illness the lock managed the lineout which operated brilliantly but was sin-binned for a shoulder charge.

7 Hill – a mixed bag from the flanker who helped stop Wilson from touching down but missed one too many tackles before being replaced by Mama who was outstanding.

7 Lewis – was guilty of conceding the three penalties that Burns kicked to give Bath a 9-0 lead but showed great work-rate and was solid as ever in defence.

8 Van Velze – demonstrated Warriors’ early intent by securing a turnover and gave his all for his team. He even played on after somehow losing his shirt.
