WARRIORS.

9 Pennell – his long-range penalty helped settle Warriors' early nerves and quashed any fears of a Bears fightback when he scored at the start of the second half.

9 Heem – another barnstorming display from the wing was capped off with a last-gasp try as he proved a destructive ball-carrier for Warriors.

8 Venter – back in the side after recovering from injury the centre kept asking questions of Bristol’s defence with probing runs in midfield and scored from 75 metres out following an intercept.

9 Mills – started and then finished the move for his try and managed the game superbly as his side bossed proceedings.

8 Adams – was a real livewire for Warriors and his efforts were rewarded with his first try of the season when he intercepted Piutua’s pass and raced home.

9 Weir – the most accurate goal-kicker Warriors have had for many seasons as he nailed all seven of his conversions including a couple from out wide.

9 Hougaard – stepped up to the occasion once again as he pulled the strings for his side with quick ball from the breakdown, assisting for three of the seven tries.

8 Black – his failure to stop Lam from powering through led to Thomas’ try but he more than made amends with a powerful performance in the scrum.

8 Singleton – was effective in the loose with some strong carrying and was part of a front row that dominated their opposite numbers in the set-piece.

8 Schonert – with England coach Eddie Jones watching on from the stands the prop produced a brilliant scrummaging display, giving Afao and Armstrong a torrid time.

8 Bresler – was caught flat-footed in the lead-up to Thomas’ early score but was a key member of a tight-five that caused Bears problems.

8 Barry – his powerful surge up field laid the platform for Warriors’ opening try as he contributed in attack and defence on a memorable afternoon.

9 Mama – was one of the stand-out performers for Worcester as he made numerous metres and showed great footwork to weave his way over the try-line against his former club.

9 LEWIS – a faultless performance from the flanker who did not put a foot wrong in defence and was like another back on the field as he demonstrated great handling skills. My man of the match.

9 van Velze – another player who had an outstanding day at the office as he crossed in the corner for his side’s first try and was excellent in all departments of the game.
