BOSS Ashley Vincent is “probably two or three” signings away from being happy with his Worcester City squad.
Vincent has commitments from 15 players so far, 10 from last season’s squad with four fresh faces and one making his return.
Tyler Weir yesterday became the 10th player who finished last term in blue and white to leave, notwithstanding transfer target Dave Reynolds who had a couple of cameos despite re-signing for Malvern Town.

On the current state of play, Vincent said: “You never stop looking for really good players that can improve the side in any position.
“In terms of what we would be happy with if the season were to start next week we are probably two or three away, we know who we want and are looking at one defender, one midfielder and a forward.
“There is a certain type of player we are after, proven winners capable of playing above this level. They don’t come easily and sometimes you have to show that patience.
“That does not put me off at all. I want people to sign for the right reasons with a full knowledge of how it is going to be.”
On the exits, he added: “People come and go, pre-season is a strange time. When it comes to the boys who are not here from last season I just want to thank them and wish them well moving forward.”
