BROMSGROVE Sporting boss Brendan Kelly has warned his players they cannot keep relying on the front four to dig them out of trouble each week

It follows the Rouslers 3-3 draw with Berkhamsted which resulted with Richard Gregory grabbing a last gasp 93rd minute equaliser.

Kelly said: "It was definitely two points dropped. I don't expect to be going in 2-1 up at half time and then find us having to chase the game at home.

"We struggled to get going and for the first 25 minutes, we couldn't get any fluency into our game

"I was pleased that we showed character at the end - but very disappointed that the players didn't carry out the instructions that they were given.

"I think our inexperience showed as we've only got Richard Gregory who has played at this level before.

"We cannot expect to go out and roll sides over every week and we need to be careful with our expectations.

"But at the same time, we're in a good position and I don't want to see our performances tail-off.

"I can't blame the defence, but we have to defend as a team and at times and we didn't do that

"Leaders Peterborough Sports and Corby Town keep winning and have both been relentless of late.

"We can not do anything about that, but we can try and keep the pressure on until we meet them.

"We're still unbeaten at home, but we've no god-given right to win games and people have to realise that teams will raise their game when they come to us".

Kelly admitted the absence of Will Shorrock, Jason Cowley and Michael McGrath made a difference.

Shorrock could be missing for a couple of months after sustaining a shoulder injury while Cowley is struggling to shake off a groin problem,

But McGrath is expected to be back in contention for Saturday's trip to Kidlington before entertaining Didcot Town the following Tuesday.

As a result, Cameron Peters has returned on loan from Walsall to cover for Cowley's absence but Kelly confirmed he had issued a number of seven day approaches.

Kelly added: "We put 11 goals past Kidlington earlier in the season, but i don't expect that to happen again".
