STOURPORT Hockey Club's ladies will travel to Olton this weekend with memories of two big wins in their minds.

They celebrated a 3-2 victory against Oxford Old Hawks in the first of their fixtures last weekend with a thumping 12-0 win against Harborne in the second match.

Elsewhere, the ladies second XI drew 2-2 with their visitors from Edgbaston in the Midland Division 1 with goals from Antonia Worrall and Immie Gillgrass.

The ladies thirds beat their hosts, Bloxwich first XI, 2-1 in last weekend's Midland Feeder West League match, captain Fran Moss and Kerry Walker got the goals.

The ladies sixth XI were beaten 8-0 in their Worcestershire 3rd Division match away against Birmingham University's sixth XI.

Stourport's men were also in action last weekend, the first XI lost 7-4 to Barford Tigers.

The men's second XI travelled to Bromsgrove hoping to extend their unbeaten start to the season in the tier two men's Division 1.

However they came up against an organised opposition who scored from their first two short corners.

The hosts secured their win with a third just after half time, before playing out the half with a style of controlled hockey. Bromsgrove added a fourth goal just before full time.

This weekend the seconds's entertain top-of-the-table Market Drayton.

Ben Harris and Charlie Bridgwater scored the goals which, gave the men's third XI a 2-1 victory over Warwick, the fourths beat Worcester 7's 11-0 at The Kingsway and it was a 2-0 victory against Edgbaston for the fifth XI.
