BUOYANT Bromsgrove Tennis Club clinched a string of titles at this year's Hereford and Worcester County Closed Championships.

Imogen Sinclair led from the front by lifting both the under-18 girls singles and doubles title.

She also finished runner-up in the ladies open and then joined forces with Scott Mortimer to finish runner-up in the under-18 mixed doubles.

Joe Hart also enjoyed an impressive competition, winning the boys under-14 title and then reaching the final of the boys under-16 competition.

Busy Joe also won the under-16 mixed doubles with Asena Pavlova and then finished runner-up in the under-16 boys doubles with Jim Round.

Joe also found time to win the boys under-14 doubles after joining forces with Scott Mortimer.

Stuart Shannon combined with Izzy O'Connor to capture the under-14 mixed doubles title.

He was also runner-up in the under-14 boys doubles with James Stanford and then lost out in the under-14 boys singles final.

Izzy O'Connor also formed part of the under-14 girls doubles winning partnership.

Harley Jones won the boys under-12 singles title and then teamed up with James Stanford to claim the doubles title as well.

Maya Hart continued the winning formula by winning the girls under-10 singles title and finished runner-up in the doubles as well.

Bromsgrove also took a team of 11 junior players to the 120th Torbay Open.

The competition attracts players from all over Europe and Bromsgrove didn't miss out as Stuart Shannon won the 14 and under singles title and then claimed the doubles crown with Joe Hart.

Imogen Sinclair also caught the eye reaching reaching both the girls 18 and under singles and doubles events.

Bromsgrove is running coaching courses starting on Saturday September 29 with a six week course for four to eight-year-olds.
