FAIRFIELD Villa snatched a stoppage time penalty to finish with a 2-2 draw against Moors Academy in Midland League Division Two.

Connor Collins kept his cool to slot home the spot kick after being pushed in the back as he tried to connect with a late cross.

Dan Wilkes had given Villa an early lead but was guilty of missing an easier chance shortly after.

Moors hit back twice and Scott Smith headed against Moors crossbar before goalkeeper Josh Goddard pulled off a stunning save to prevent Moors from going 3-1 up.

Villa spokesman Paul Oakes said: "It was an excellent game. Moors are the best footballing side that we play and we did well to keep our home record intact."

Villa travel to Bloxwich this Saturday where they take on Lane Head in the Smedley Crook Cup
