THIS weekend saw two Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination teams progress to the semi-finals of their retrospective cups.

SSS Lions have progressed to the semi of the BRT Terry Cup after beating Lodge Park 7-0, with two goals from Brendan Hicks. Beoley Village are in the Semi Final of the BSA Cup after beating SCC Redolence 1-0 with Ben Stone scoring the only goal of the match.

Studley Lions secured their quarter final place in the BSA Cup after beating VKL Utd 3-1 on penalties after the match finished 0-0 after 90 minutes.

In Division 1, Norton Athletic won their first league game today and in style too, beating Astwood 7-4 with 2 goals each from Sheldance Shields and Patrick Kelly. Matt Armond scored a hat trick for Astwood.

Redditch Cross United beat South Redditch 6-2 with a hat trick by Kyle Perkins. CBH Fasteners won their game 3-0 moving them from 4th place to 2nd in the table.
