HockeyFest in Droitwich on Saturday
DROITWICH Spa Hockey Club want to recruit new players for their men’s, women’s and junior sides.
HockeyFest will be at the club next to the town’s leisure centre on Saturday from noon.
The England Hockey-backed event aims to boost the sport’s profile.
Juniors can come down to try hockey and meet some of the older players who are returning.
From 1.30pm there will be have-a-go sessions for adults.
Droitwich’s plans have yielded a state-of-the-art pitch and improved clubhouse facilities.
Training is on Wednesdays from 6.30pm until 7.45pm for juniors and for seniors from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
