TONY Round has taken over as chairman at Feckenham FC having formerly been involved as assistant manager at the club.

The 39-year-old was previously with Bartley Green Illey and then head coach at Midland League side Studley.

Round has also been in charge of Old Hill FC before joining Feckenham in 2016 where he has also served as the Millers welfare officer.

Former Feckenham player Jamie Firkin has returned to play for the Millers for the remainder of the season.

The one time Stratford Town and Evesham United defender has also played at Studley under former manager Paul Smith.

Firkin has also featured for Bartley Green Illey along with current Millers boss Aaron Blackwood and followed him to Feckenham.

Luckless Feckenham faced another washout this week when their much awaited local derby with Fairfield Villa was called off.

Sixth placed Feckenham now face a real test of their credentials this Saturday when they entertain second placed and title favourites NKF Burbage at The Entaco in a Midland League Division Two contest.
