FECKENHAM faced the prospect of another weekend on the sidelines as their proposed Worcester Junior Cup semi-final contest with local rivals Droitwich Spa was called off yet again owing to a waterlogged pitch.

But Millers manager Aaron Blackwood was able to arrange a hastily put together friendly fixture with local Midland League Division Two rivals Redditch Borough which took place on Studley FC's synthetic pitch.

With neither side having played a competitive game since before Christmas, both were desperate to see some action.

Feckenham were able to field 17 players with Haden Smith making his first appearence for the Millers while George Tolley returned to the ranks following surgery.

But both Jordan Adams and Danny Murphy missed the game after the pair picked up injuries Feckenham take on Bloxwich Town this Saturday in a Midland League Division Two contest at The Entaco, Studley Sports and Social club with kick-off at 2-30pm.

The Worcester Junior Cup clash with Droitwich Spa is still to be re-arranged.
