Report submitted by Redditch and south Warwickshire combination
In Division 1, South Redditch were back on winning ways beating Beoley Village 4-0. This result sees them move from 6th place to 3rd place in the table.
In Division 2 SO Goose comfortably beat Astwood 5-1 with two goals from Ashley Lalor seeing them move to 3rd place. Redditch Town beat VKL Utd with the same score line with two goals each from Chris Adams and Daniel Gaffney.
Lodge Park secure themselves a semi-final place in the BSA Cup after beating Broughsons 3-0. They will play either CBH or VKL (game still to be played).
There were eight goals in the Jim Fleeman Cup quarter-final match between SCC Redolence and Studley Swan. Shane Hancox helped Studley Swan to a 5-3 win with his hat trick securing their place in the Semi Final. They will play either CBH or Norton in the semi-final.
Sadly Redditch United Cross are out of the Birmingham Amateur Cup after loosing 6-0 to Empire Ambush from Coventry.
Next week we have the two semi-finals played of the Steven Troth – both games will be played at Greenlands.
