A MAN has been charged in relation to an assault outside the Fownes Hotel in City Walls Road.
And West Mercia Police have said the victim, a 29-year-old man who sustained injuries, has now been released from hospital.
Police were called to the assault at 1am on Bank Holiday Monday, May 25. Three men were originally arrested in connection with the assault that led to police vans attending and officers blocking the road and car park of the hotel with police tape for a short period.

Tobi Hurding, aged 31, from Birmingham, was charged with wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and robbery and was due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today.
Witnesses or anyone with information can call 101, quoting reference 42s, or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
