THIS is Sammy, a beautiful eight-year-old whippet who is in the care of RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch through no fault of his own.

He would benefit from a quiet home and is best as the only pet in the house.

Geraldine Haynes, branch trustee, said: "Sammy is a really lovely, affectionate, friendly boy, who is a bit on the nervous side and is wondering why he's in kennels.

"He loves company and would be really happy in a home where someone is around part of the day. Sammy enjoys his walks and would be a loyal, loving companion.

"Sammy needs a quiet home, as that is what he's used to, and he does get frightened of loud noises.

"He is house trained, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and will be rehomed with four weeks' free pet insurance."

Please call Geraldine on 01886 822083 if you feel you can offer Sammy the lovely home he deserves.
