INFRASTRUCTURE: The A4440 Southern Link Road
Sir – Can anyone tell me why the link road was never completed?
It finishes just above Dines Green and the other side the river at the junction of the A449 and Ombersley Road.
Is there some reason why the bridge was never built to join these instead of a new Carrington Bridge?
It would mean traffic going to the north would not need to go through the town or over Carrington Bridge.
This would relieve the pressure on both the Southern Link Road and Bromyard Road.
