REHEARSALS are in full swing for a musical theatre youth group after a successful appeal for more teenage boys for its next show – Back to the 80’s.
WODYS – Worcester Operatic and Dramatic Society Youth Section needed boys to play some principal roles and to be members of the male chorus.
Back to the 80’s is being performed at the Swan Theatre, Worcester, from Tuesday, July 30 to Saturday, August 3. There are six performances, including a Saturday matinee.
David Humphries, WODYS chairman and producer said; “Open auditions were held and we were successful in finding boys for these parts. I would like to thank everyone who auditioned.
"Rehearsals are now going ahead very well, tickets sales are good, and it looks like we will have another successful production. I would also like to thank the Worcester News and Berrow’s Journal for helping us to find the boys.”
