ARREST: A wanted man was caught by police in Ellis Road, Worcester following a chase around the city
A WANTED man has been arrested following a chase over several St John's gardens and alleyways in the city.
The foot chase happened yesterday (March 7) at around 4pm in Ellis Road, Worcester.
The man was caught by police and transported to custody to be dealt with.
The man, from Birmingham, had been wanted for questioning for a number of days but appeared to be actively avoiding police.
Enquiries are now ongoing into the original offences.
A spokesman from West Mercia Police said: "A big thank you to our fantastic, eagle eyed, community for helping guide officers in after the man disappearing into someone's rear garden."
