A 'CLUBBERCISE' event raised funds for a charity which helps blind and partially sighted people to live independently.
Held on Saturday at Christopher Whitehead Language College in Worcester, fitness instructor Sue Foord led around 80 people in a workout to a soundtrack of club anthems, raising more than £1,100 for Sight Concern Worcestershire through donations.
Fellow trainer Tina Donkin said: “We ran a half hour session before the main event for anyone with sight loss."
"This meant I had to audio describe the moves to the participants. I’ve had some experience with visually impaired keep fitters before so this was a great opportunity to hone my tutoring skills."
She added: “At the end of the main event we invited participants to do Clubbercise blindfolded to give them a feel of how challenging it is to follow dance routines if you can’t see.”
