CHINESE New Year celebrations will take place this weekend, hosted by the Worcestershire Chinese Association.
Frankie Tsang, chairman of the association said: "Everyone is welcome, it will be a happy and joyful event to welcome the year of the pig."
There will be fireworks to begin the celebration followed by a traditional Chinese lion dance. There will also be a Kung Fu demonstration and Chinese children will perform poetry and songs. Traditional Chinese music will be played. Mr Tsang will do a speech followed by the Mayor of Worcester Cllr Jabba Riaz. The day will end with a raffle.

The event is free and takes place on Sunday, February 17 at the Guildhall at 12pm until 3:30pm.
