A TEAM of Worcestershire businesses is representing the county at the 'largest property event in the world'.

The 'Team Worcestershire' delegation will be promoting investment in sites across the county including, Worcester Six, Malvern Hills Science Park and the Redditch Gateway at MIPIM, the world's largest real estate event, held in France.

The Worcestershire group will be joining the Midlands Pavilion led by Sir John Peace, chairman of the Midlands Engine, which is a collection of local enterprise partnerships , universities and businesses across the region working with government to promote investment in business.

From March 12 to March 15, Team Worcestershire will be promoting the county in over 40 events at MIPIM including panel discussions, keynote speakers and presentations to present the Midlands as an attractive place to invest and grow businesses.

Sir John Peace said: “MIPIM provides a platform from which we can showcase the many strengths of the Midlands to a wide audience.

"The Midlands is already a highly competitive investment destination. By attracting more investors, developers and businesses, we are able to improve our infrastructure, innovation and productivity creating a stronger economy for all.”

MIPIM is a four-day property exhibition started in 1990, it sees investors from around the world gather to discuss real estate and property investment.
