THE county council has released information on the latest batch of Worcester roadworks up to the middle of February.

A lane of the A4440 Crookbarrow Way between Whittington roundabout and Norton roundabout westbound will be closed throughout Tuesday (February 5) while engineers install concrete barriers in relation to bridge works.

As previously reported, Sansome Walk between the junctions with Sansome Place and Pierpoint Street will now finish on March 4, due to delays.

The work, undertaken by Cadent Gas, consists of low pressure gas main replacement. Grange Avenue continues to be closed between the junction with Bevere Close south to the junction with Bevere Drive up to March 1 for footway reconstruction.

Randwick Drive between the junctions with Avening Close and Woodmancote is closed from today (February 4) to March 23, for Severn Trent water mains renewal.

Green Hill London Road will be closed from Wednesday (6) to Friday (8) for Severn Trent new connection works.

Severn Terrace will also be closed completely between junctions with A449 and Moor Street to allow BT engineers to replace existing pole for fibre erection.

A lane closure on the A449 Northern Link Road between junctions with Blackpole Road and M5 junction 6 A449 continues until March 29 for Highways England safe works.

The Butts junction with Dolday will see a lane closed on Tuesday (February 5) to allow for loop cutting for traffic signals.

A lane of the A44 New Road will be closed between February 6 and 7 for loop cutting for a traffic signal upgrade, while A44 Whittington Road adjacent to the telephone exchange will be partially closed from February 14 to 16 to allow for dangerous cover replacement work.

A443 Henwick Road’s junction with Martley Road will have temporary traffic lights up to February 19 to allow for footway reconstruction.

Temporary lights will also feature at Williamson Road’s junction with Kennett Green from today (February 4) until March 1 for drainage installation.

A44 Deansway to the side of 106 High Street will have temporary lights to allow for remedial works from Wednesday (6) to Thursday (7). And today (February 4) for pedestrian crossing renewal.

A pedestrian crossing installation on Trotshill Way means temporary traffic lights between Wednesday (February 6) and February 15.

Approximately 107 metres west of the Bridgewater roundabout on Wainwright Road will also have temporary lights between Wednesday (February 6) and Friday (8).

February 17 will see temporary lights on Astwood Road to allow for kerbing amendments.

Lights are set to be in place between roundabouts either end of Trotshill Way today (February 4) and tomorrow (February 5) for installation of street lighting lanterns onto columns already installed.

A pipe renewal means temporary lights on A449 Ombersley Road between February 9 and 11.

The pedestrian crossing on A44 London Road near Foxwell Street will have temporary lights on February 13 to allow for loop cutting for traffic signals.

There will be temporary lights on Ombersley Road from February 16 to 17 to allow for Cadent Gas works and the following weekend.

B4550 Brickfields Road on February 17 will have temporary lights to replace tactile blocks in the footway at a crossing point.
