STUDENTS from Bishop Perowne CE College are inviting the local community to join them for their Christmas dance show.
Students from all year groups will take to the stage in the school’s theatre and perform a mixture of solo routines and group pieces.
BTEC and GCSE dancers will also be showcasing some of their exam work.
Mark Pollard, headteacher at Bishop Perowne CE College, said: “Being able to perform in front of a live audience helps our students to hone their skills and build their confidence.
"We have some amazing dancers at the school and they are looking forward to welcoming members of the local community to the Christmas dance show.”
Every year Bishop Perowne welcomes a specialist intake of students who are committed to the arts and gain entry to the school through an audition process.
They receive a bespoke programme of training which is designed to further develop their skill and they make a commitment to support the development of others.
The Christmas Dance Show takes place in the school’s theatre from 7pm on Tuesday, December 18.
Tickets cost £3 for students/concessions and £5 for adults and can be bought from the school.
