JACK is a black 12-week-old bearded collie/poodle cross puppy, in the care of RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch.

He is looking for his forever home where he will get lots of TLC and company for most of the day.

Geraldine Haynes, branch trustee, said: "We recommend Jack goes to puppy training classes and will not be rehomed with children under eight years of age.

"He is in good condition and has been vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, de-flead and will be neutered as soon as he is old enough."

If you feel you have the time and commitment to offer Jack a loving home, please call Geraldine on 01886 822083.

For more rescued animals seeking their forever homes, visit the branch website rspca-worcester.org or ring Geraldine on the number above for dogs.

For cats and rabbits, call The Holdings Rescue and Rehoming Centre on 07484 905707 or visit the centre in Holdings Lane, Broomhall, Kempsey, Worcester, WR5 3FP any day (except Wednesdays) between 11am and 4pm.

Dogs are not on site and continue to be boarded in private kennels until the kennel block is built.

The branch is holding its summer craft fayre on Sunday, August 26, from 10.30am until 4pm at The Holdings.

There will be lots of stalls, a raffle, tombola, some unique finds, handmade gifts, original artwork and much more.

A barbecue will be available offering lunch between 11.30am and 2pm, with other light refreshments throughout the event.

Entry is £1 (under 12s free) and there is ample free parking. All proceeds will go towards vets bills for animals in the branch's care.

More than 400 cats and kittens have been rehomed since The Holdings opened 22 months ago. The new rabbit house is full of rescued bunnies looking for their forever homes and the dog isolation unit is almost completed, which will allow the charity to bring dogs onto the site.
