A NEW bar has opened in Halesowen - making it the second new venue to open in the last week.
The bar, called Liquor Lounge, is on High Street, opposite St John's Church.
It opened on Saturday (July 4) - the same day as Talk of the Town - which is just a few doors up - in time for the reopening of pubs across England since lockdown began in March.
The unit used to be occupied by a bar called Oscar's, (pictured below) which closed in January.
Halesowen BID manager Vicky Rogers said Liquor Lounge is a family-run venue.
She welcomed its opening.
Vicky said: "It's great that the town is making a comeback and we have venues opening, rather than closing down.
"Hopefully the new venues will build up regular clientele."
Talk of the Town (pictured above) is based at the former Swanky's unit.
There will be a coffee morning there tomorrow (Wednesday July 8) at 11.30am. Anyone is welcome.
