PUBS and restaurants across the county of Herefordshire are busy planning how to reopen ahead of the big day on July 4.

Here's what some of them are telling their followers on social media:

SPREAD EAGLE, HEREFORD: We are due to open 4th July, noon.

We have been inundated with bookings for our garden area and restaurant.

We still have limited tables available for Saturday and Sunday

Restaurant diners will need to book to sit in the restaurant, no walk-ins will be allowed.

Garden area has got a lot of tables that have already been booked up, so we are advising booking for drinkers and snacks in the garden.

Also just a message to say, only maximum of 6 people from 2 different households will be allowed to sit indoors.

THE HAREWOOD END INN: Hi all. We are very much looking forward to opening up our beautiful pub garden again on Saturday evening .

We wanted to express that we are taking the government guidelines very seriously and for that reason we will not be taking bookings inside our pub until Thursday 9th of July onwards. In the meantime our staff will be getting fully trained and comfortable with the new systems put in place.

We want to Thank you for your patience and ongoing support.Slowly but surely the good times will be returning.

THE TEMPLE BAR INN, EWYAS HAROLD: So the Covid guidelines for The Temple that you've all been waiting for are ready for you to view.

Feel free to print them out and take them to bed with you on the nights you can't sleep! In all seriousness, we're aware they're quite detailed but we felt it was important to make everything as clear as possible, and it will all be backed up in the pub with copious amounts of signage, so that it's as easy as possible to enjoy your visit and without any confusion. All we ask is that you respect the guidelines, respect the team and let's all enjoy ourself with gin, beer and food! July4.

THE ROYAL ARMS, LLANGROVE: We are opening on July4!

This week is a normal lockdown week, so please place your take away orders as before.

We are extremely grateful to our dear friends who have supported us over the last 13 weeks by ordering food.

We'll never forget your faces and the kindness you've shown us helping us keep this pub alive.

Social distancing will apply so everyone feels safe.

THE BRIDGE INN, KENTCHURCH: 4th of July update!
The first and the most important thing is we will be open again.
Which is great news!

Before we start complaining about the new pub rules and restrictions, let’s focus on the fact we all can have a pint and food at the pub again.

At the Bridge, Kentchurch we will do everything in our power to let you forget your troubles and simply enjoy time out.

Join us on 4th of July for a spectacular backyard party with BBQ and live music.

If you are concerned about the new pub rules, bookings etc please just message us and we will send you a really interesting absolutely not boring pages of rules and restrictions we need to follow.

Feel free to come on Saturday, we have enough beautiful space outside, enough beer and food to accommodate you all, and still follow the social distancing rules.

Menus for Saturday-coming soon, but we can guarantee it will be a spectacular feast cooked over the fire, meats and veg and much much more. If you are concerned about coming down, don’t worrytakeaway service is still available.

THE CROWN INN, WOOLHOPE: Not long now, people!

We have a lot of paperwork to get in order ready for Saturday 4th July.

We have to serve you in line with the guidelines.

There will be a one way system through the pub.

Only 6 people at any one table.

Space inside will be limited and we will look to maximise our service area at the front of the pub.

Booking a table for drinks or food is advisable.

Full s.o.p to follow... we will endeavour to make it as simple to follow as possible.

THE SUN INN, LEINTWARDINE: At 11am on Saturday 4th July the Sun will reopen at last!

To start with it will Wednesday to Sunday 11 till 9pm.

The bar and the garden will both be open but the 1m rule of social distancing must apply.

It will be table service only.

We look forward to seeing you all again and hope the weather stays good for us all.
