FOUR neighbours in Dudley are celebrating after scooping £1,000 in the People's Postcode Lottery.

The neighbours on Norfolk Road won £1,000 each after DY2 0UG was announced as the winning postcode on Monday, June 22.

Danyl Johnson, ambassador for the People’s Postcode Lottery, sent his best wishes to the winners with: “What a great way to start your week! Congratulations to our winners, I hope they go and treat themselves with their winnings.”

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted by Save the Children which has received over £8.9 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

The charity works with parents, teachers and childcare experts to give youngsters the support they need from the very start of life.

Local charities can next apply for funding from lottery from August by visiting the People's Postcode Lottery website.
