TWO men have denied killing former Dudley Market stallholder Julia Rawson whose remains were found on an industrial estate in the Black Country a month after she went missing from her Kates Hill home.
Nathan Maynard-Ellis, 29, and 24-year-old David Leesley were both further remanded in custody to await trial by Judge Michael Chambers QC at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
Leesley of Dereton Close, Russells Hall and Maynard-Ellis of Mission Drive, Dudley Port, both pleaded not guilty to murdering 42-year-old Ms Rawson on May 12 last year.
Maynard-Ellis further pleaded not guilty to a charge of dismembering her corpse and burying the body parts between May 19 and May 25 2019.
The remains of Ms Rawson, who was last seen on May 12, were discovered on the industrial estate in Tipton on June 12.
Ms Rawson who lived in Green Park Road, Kates Hill, Dudley had been missing for a month.
The two men will face their trial before a High Court Judge in Birmingham on October 6.
