A REDDITCH man has been hit with a suspended sentence after stealing cans of Carling, a bottle of Prosecco and hair dye from stores across north Worcestershire.
Todd Macdonald, of Chedworth Close, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on April 2 where he faced a string of charges including theft and trespass with intent to steal.
The 23-year-old pleaded guilty to stealing two four-can packs of Carling from One Stop in Redditch on February 17 and he also admitted stealing a bottle of Prosecco from a Co-op in Bromsgrove on January 28.
Macdonald also pleaded guilty to stealing two hair colours, worth £26, from Sally's in the Kingfisher Centre on February 28.
He also admitted trespassing into a building on Padgets Lane in Redditch on February 17 with intent to steal.
Magistrates sentenced him to a 12 week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and he was also ordered to follow a curfew for ten weeks.
The court also ordered Macdonald to pay £114 in compensation and costs.
