CHILDREN’S toy store The Entertainer along with Boots Opticians are the latest high street stores to temporarily close their doors.
The Entertainer is closing its 172 stores, including one in Commercial Street, Hereford, from this evening (Monday).
The company stated that they were ‘putting the welfare of its employees and customers ahead of profits’ during this difficult Covid-19 pandemic.
Entertainer state that their website and social channels will also provide a hub of resources for parents who are looking to keep the kids entertained at home including downloadable activity sheets and great ideas for ways to play in the garden.

Meanwhile Boots have made the decision to close their opticians and hearingcare stores across the UK ‘in order to protect the health and well-being of our customers and our team in these challenging times’.
